The Story Behind Dream Street

The five young New York natives ranging from ages 14-16 are trained in acting and dance and have also had vocal training prior to their group experience. The group Dream Street is the brainchild of Dream Street Entertainment cofounders Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. The five talented youths teamed up in spring of 1999. Their song "They Don't Understand" is featured on the Pokemon 2000 soundtrack and "Lets Get Funky Tonight" appears on "The Little Vampire" soundtrack. Both songs were included on their demo and were featured on both soundtracks even before the group had a record deal. When their demo landed in the hands of edel Entertainment executives, it wasn't long until they had a deal.
